ABOUT THE CONFERENCE 2019

    In 2019, International Conference on Industrial Engineering was held on 25-29 of March. The conference organizers were in Sochi, as a main conference venue and South Ural State University (national research university), Chelyabinsk; Platov South-Russian State Polytechnic University, Novocherkassk, Rostov region; Moscow Polytechnic University and Volgograd State Technical University as the additional conference venues. A video bridge connected the platforms during all the period of holding of the conference. Furthermore, a web-broadcast of the work of the conference sections was organized during four days in on-line.

    ICIE 2019 included a rich technical program consisting of 13 sections:
    Part 1. Mechanical Engineering:
    1.1. Machinery and Mechanism Design;
    1.2. Dynamics of Machines and Working Processes;
    1.3. Friction, Wear, and Lubrication in Machines;
    1.4. Design and Manufacturing Engineering of Industrial Facilities;
    1.5. Transport and Technological Machines;
    1.6. Mechanical Treatment of Materials;
    1.7. Industrial Hydraulic Systems;
    1.8. Green Manufacturing.
    Part 2. Materials Engineering and Technologies for Production and Processing:
    2.1. Polymers, Composites and Ceramics;
    2.2. Steels and Alloys, Metallurgical and Metalworking Technologies;
    2.3. Chemical and Hydrometallurgical Technologies;
    2.4. Surface Engineering and Coatings;
    2.5. Processing and Controlling Technologies.

    About 520 reports were selected by the program committee for participating in the conference (see program). In 2019, scientists and practicians from 11 countries took part in the conference, including representatives of 63 Russian cities from the western and central parts to the Far East regions. International participants represented such countries as China, Germany, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Portugal, Saudi Arabia, Tajikistan, Ukraine, USA, Uzbekistan.

    English-speaking conference papers were accepted for publication in "Lecture Notes in Mechanical Engineering" of Springer International Publishing AG (www.springer.com/series/11236) and "Solid State Phenomena" journal of Trans Tech Publications Ltd. (www.scientific.net). Reports of "Mechanical Engineering" were published in the "Lecture Notes in Mechanical Engineering" journal (volume I; volume II). Reports of "Materials engineering and technologies for production and processing" were published in the "Solid State Phenomena" journal (vol. 299, 2020).

    Russian-speaking conference papers were accepted for publication in the conference proceedings as electronic issue indexed by RSCI (Russian Science Citation Index).
